The group in raspberry pink shirts
Eight chorus members and director

A happy, fun and friendly ladies a cappella group, based in the North East of Scotland.

Our Director, Mary Robertson, is an accomplished and enthusiastic leader, with a wide range of vocal music experience, from personal solo singing to children’s recorder groups, church choral groups and barbershop. She also loves horses and bakes great scones.

We practice at 7.00pm each Monday at Westhill Community Church.

We come from a wide range of backgrounds and musical ability but all enjoy the fun and challenge of four-part a capella singing. Our repertoire includes songs from films and musicals, Christmas favourites, Scottish music, and even recent popular music. It is not necessary to be able to read music to start with, but singers do have to commit to listening to and learning from recordings, not only on Monday evenings.

The reward is that the sound we can make is amazing, and we love to share it in concert halls, churches, community events, care homes, shopping  centres, stately homes, gardens . . . anywhere!

We love to perform for Christmas parties, summer fairs, wedding receptions, fund-raising events. We compete against other singing groups roughly annually and in recent years have begun to travel around Europe to international festivals!
